St Minver, a small village close to the north Cornish coastal villages of Rock, is home to Nathan Outlaws restaurant. Polzeath with its superb surfing beach and great bars, and Port Isaac which is home to ’Doc Martin’, is a typical Cornish fishing village, with working harbour, narrow streets that meander downhill to the pubs, cafés and shops that line the quay. This area of north Cornwall has some of the most amazing coastal scenery in the county, from walks around the famous ’Rumps’, a Bronze Age fort and hills that jut out into the Atlantic, to beaches backed by dunes at Daymer Bay, home to the church of St Enedoc. Padstow, a pretty fishing and gastro village, has so many bistros, restaurants, and gastro pubs that you will be spoilt for choice - do your best to get round them or just enjoy a pasty and ice cream on the quay.

The pretty Camel Trail that hugs the banks of the Camel Estuary is a great attraction. You can simply stroll along it or hire bikes in the village and ride to Wadebridge, where the views are stunning. The market town has local shops and a quaint little cinema. There are many golf courses in the area with the closest being The Point at Polzeath, under a mile away. Horse riding, golf, cycling and surfing are all available nearby. Beach ¾ mile.
