Stunning sea views. Poldark filmed here. Traditional granite cottage situated down a quiet narrow lane leading to Levant Steam mine on the cliffs of this heritage coastline. Only 7 cottages in this hamlet. Wi Fi.
This lovely welcoming cottage (sleeps 4) is situated along a narrow lane leading down from the Trewellard Inn towards the cliffs, where Poldark is filmed and just off the wonderfully scenic road from Lands End to St Ives. The area has been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in July 2006. Secret Garden Cottage is in the centre of a row of three, and deceptively spacious. There is a long sheltered garden to the front and a large garden to the rear with glorious sea views and stunning sunsets. The National Trust coastal path and the restored Levant Steam Engine Mine is a short walk of less than a quarter of a mile. Winter or summer, if you are a keen walker or bird spotter and a lover of pure Atlantic air and spectacular scenery, this is the ideal hideaway for you. This area of Cornwall is unique and known for its rugged coast line and breathtaking views. See the website www.landsendarea.co.uk for excellent local information.
