THE HEN HOUSE

Close to a dog friendly beach and many attractions, this single storey cottage is perfect for year-round holidays.

This spacious, detached holiday property is wonderfully situated in Cornwall’s countryside, yet only minutes from many of the beautiful beaches in the area such as Looe, Hannifore and Seaton, which is a year-round dog friendly beach with a stylish beach bar and café. Looe, 4 miles, is home to one of the country’s fish markets supplied by the day boats that leave this quaint working harbour. The coastal path passes nearby and provides beautiful walks and views along this dramatic coastline. In September there are live music festivals with many big names playing in the various venues.

Polperro, a quaint and historic fishing village, is a short distance along the coast. There are numerous cycle routes around the area and many surfing spots along the coast. Various tourist attractions include The Monkey Sanctuary, The National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth and many golf courses along with National Trust gardens and houses. The Eden Project is an easy drive and provides a great day out, as does Padstow, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Fowey, a picturesque seafaring town providing sailing, kayaking and pleasure trips along the Fowey River.
