The apartment lies on the edge of historic Fowey a picturesque town with quaint narrow streets as well as steps and alleys that lead down to the quays and estuary. Visitors can enjoy browsing around the array of shops and galleries visiting the many restaurants and pubs and sampling the local seafood specialities. The town hosts an annual regatta and sailing enthusiasts can take advantage of boat hire and a sailing school. In May each year Fowey Literary Festival is held in the town. There are many historical properties worth visiting in the area as well as the delightful fishing ports of Mevagissey Padstow and Polperro with their narrow alleys and small shops selling local crafts and freshly-caught seafood.
