For a slice of laid-back country-coastal living. This high quality, self catering holiday cottage provides country chic accommodation for 2 people, just 10min drive to the stunning North Cornwall coast.
When my guests leave reviews like this, I must be doing something right! : “The house itself is immaculate, space and decoration to die for (before I even mention the master en-suite.. It's simply perfection). There is NOTHING that could be improved about the house, the location is perfect for exploring North Cornwall too, so many gorgeous places on the doorstep and the fantastic house book just sets you up for great days and nights out, or evenings in - thank you so much Jakki for sharing your wonderful home - off to look for winter breaks with you right now!”
The Cottage has featured in two international interior design magazines, 25 Beautiful Homes and Good Homes magazines.
The Cottage is spacious, full of light and has been designed with comfort in mind, providing all the facilities you need for a home from home experience.
With a romantically styled master bedroom suite comprising a large ensuite with double ended tub and luxuriously large walk-in shower, plus a walk-in dressing room, The Cottage is a popular Honeymoon choice, country retreat for couples and escapism for young parents taking time out from the normal daily routine.
A downstairs wet-room, large sitting room with a wood-burner, a snug/office, large country-style kitchen diner and laundry room complete the layout.
With everything from a Nutri-Ninja blender to a Graco cot, baby monitor, high chair, play pens, play balls...............The Cottage is a great environment to bring a toddler.
The Cottage, which is detached and surrounded on three sides by lawns, sits in the centre of a typically, sleepy, Cornish hamlet. Great for easy access to local attractions and seaside haunts, yet far from the madding crowds in the evening when you can sit and enjoy the tranquility of the hamlet, whilst your infant sleeps undisturbed.
The Cottage is ideally located; just one hour drive from Exeter, only 10-15mins drive from the coast at Boscastle and Crackington Haven and within close proximity to famous haunts: Tintagel, Port Isaac, Polzeath, Bude, Widemouth Bay, Rock, Trebarwith Strand, Sandymouth Bay, Northcott Bay, Port Gaverne, Daymer Bay, Padstow........
10-15 mins in the opposite direction and you could be taking morning strolls or brisk afternoon walks on Bodmin Moor, or picnicking by babbling brooks and moorland streams. For local culture and family attractions, you are spoilt for choice, from steam railways to bowling alleys, museums to castles and an array of National Trust properties, from the Medieval Tintagel Post Office to The Pixie House (the old Piggery) in the beautiful Elizabethan harbour at Boscastle.
