Rosslyn is a pretty cob-walled holiday cottage quietly located in the centre of the picturesque old fishing village of St Mawes.

Now a fashionable holiday spot, St Mawes has long been sought after by the sailing community and familes looking for seeaside relaxation, lovely beaches and countryside, charming pubs & restaurants, walks and a King Henry VIII castle guarding the harbour entrance to Falmouth opposite.
Up steps behind the quayside and the old Victory Inn, Rosslyn's sunny private gardens face south overlooking the village towards the beach, the Percuil River and National Trust headland beyond.
There are pretty gardens front and back and a sunny barbecue patio with garden bench and table for eating 'al fresco'.
The shops and restaurants, pubs, quayside and waterfront are only a short walk down the steps, making this large and traditional fisherman's cottage a perfect holiday home.
St Mawes is a renowned beauty spot with facilities for sailing & fishing; sand & shingle beaches; crab catching on the quayside and shrimp catching in the rock pools; kayak rental; tennis; sailing boat and windsurf hire nearby; beautiful walks; subtropical gardens; Cornish cream teas; and close to Falmouth (by passenger ferry), Truro & St Austell for shopping, golf, horseriding, cinemas and leisure centres/ swimming pools. The Eden Project is also nearby, near St Austell.
Rosslyn offers 3 bedrooms, each with partial views of the estuary/sea, 1 large Double room, Queen sized bed; 1 large Double/Twin/triple* with lovely views towards Summers Beach, small fireplace (not in use) built in cupboard and chest of drawers (*beds = two 3ft John Lewis singles which can be zipped together to form a large double + each has extra single bed underneath with fold up legs and a proper mattress, which can also be put into the double bedroom as a spare bed); 1 small Single; 2 x spare beds available as above; bathroom with separate electric overhead shower; lounge with large sofa(bed), armchairs, TV/DVD player, stereo; kitchen with separate dining/family room ovelooking the patio, front garden and sea.
Initial booking deposit £150 a week, if booking online and the deposit is less the remaining deposit is to be paid within 7 days. Final balance is balance due 6 weeks before rental date. No group bookings please, £150 damage deposit.
