The location of “Sea View Cottage” couldn’t be better. Just a minutes walk takes you up Penzance’s most famous historic street directly into the town centre. A minutes walk in the opposite direction, and enjoy Penzance promenade and the largest open air swimming pool in the country (Jubilee Pool), continue the walk along the promenade to be taken to the working fishing village of Newlyn and enjoy the famous daily fresh Jelberts Ice-cream.
A ten minute drive from Sea View Cottage takes you to some of the best surf breaks in Cornwall if not the world, Sennen and Gwenver beaches offer golden sand and world class waves. Also within 15 mins. drive are St Ives, The Tate Gallery, The Minack open air Theatre and Lands End.
Cornwall is renowned for its gentle climate, influenced by the Gulf Stream, but just to be sure; all our accommodations are centrally heated.
SEA VIEW COTTAGE is perfectly located at the bottom of the historic Chapel Street, and overlooking the working harbour of Penzance. Sea View Cottage offers stunning views of St Michael’s Mount to the Lizard Peninsular across Mounts Bay to the working dock at Penzance and the town centre. THE GROUND FLOOR offers a recently refurbished modern kitchen with dining table for 8 people and fully equipped including gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dish washer, washing machine and drier, plus all utensils. There is also a large twin room and a toilet & utility room.
THE FIRST FLOOR consists of two double beedroms, a bathroom with bath, shower and sink and large railed airing cupboard. A large living room with TV, DVD, and Patio door through to large railed patio area with magnificent harbour, town and sea views including St Michael’s Mount. The patio are is perfect for BBQ with seating/ sunloungers and Patio Table. It also serves as ideal secluded sunbathing area.
