Filmed on a perfect, early summer's morning, this video takes a leisurely walk around Porthleven's historic harbour. To be honest there isn't a great deal to Porthleven beyond the harbour, as you can see from the aerial shots from the drone. That said the harbour is pretty impressive with its massive granite walls built to withstand whatever the Atlantic throws at it.

In case you are wondering the impressive building with the clock tower by the pier is not a church and is known locally as "the Institute". This often features in the dramatic storm videos of Porthleven and is pretty much in a state of constant repair after the battering it takes every winter!

On a day like this though, it is hard to imagine Porthleven being anything but a haven of tranquility...
