Nice food, good value. Great menu. Service is average - not the quickest, but friendly enough.
The only thing which puts me off The Globe is that it's always so busy. I guess that's a good sign, so if you want a social meal, it's a good choice. If however, like me, when you go out for a meal it's more you and your partner looking for a bit of romance, then the Globe may not deliver...you're a bit crammed in (once we were stuck in the bar area with lots of drinkers standing over us...better they got rid of that table imo or saved it for pub meals, not use it as a restaurant style booking!!!!)
All in all though, a good choice, but be prepared for crowds and noise. Social: yes, good food: yes nice decor: yes, romantic: no! peaceful: no!
