The parish church of St Keverne in the village of the same name. located on the eastern side of the Lizard Peninsula St Keverne is one of the main settlements in the area.

The church itself mostly dates back to the 15th and 16th centuries although the site is 7th century. It was founded by the Celtic monk, St Kieran.

The most notable things about the church are its steeple, unusual for a Cornish church, and the graveyard. Here lie the graves of many of those lost at sea on the notorious Manacles reef nearby. The canon on the wall was salvaged from one of these wrecks, the HMS Primrose. She went down on the reef with the loss of her entire crew of 125,save one, the drummer boy.
