Sennen Cove Harbour

The pretty little harbour in Sennen Cove with the old coastguard lookout at the top of Pedn-mên-du in the distance.

This harbour is the most westerly in mainland Britain with Land's End just around the corner. The headland that the lookout sits on protects the village from the worst the Atlantic can throw at it, but during big winter storms the spray from the waves washes straight over the cliffs.

I took this photo from a video I was shooting of walking from Sennen to Land's End. The cloud was in just the right place to dim the sun on this shot but soon moved and the sky was back to looking white in the rest of the clip.
