Kennack Sands - Beach 2

Kennack Sands is tucked in behind the Lizard Point near the village of Kuggar. It is a popular spot despite being a long way from anywhere. There are effectively two beaches at Kennack Sands, although they do join up at low tide. This is the beach to the east. It is furthest from the car park so is the less busy of the two. It is also part of the Kennack nature reserve which extends into the grasslands behind. This part of the beach is also home to some interesting World War II defences including a pill box and anti-tank wall.
