Tristan Stone - Fowey

Located at Menabilly East Lodge Gate just outside Fowey is the 9ft tall Tristan Stone. I t was originally located at the near by Castle Dore which may of been the residence of the Cornish King Mark
The stone probably dates back to the fifth or sixth century
