Cannon in front of Folk Museum - Helston
Description: The cannon cannon was taken from HMS Anson which was wrecked at Loe Bar in 1807. It was this incident that inspired the town's Henry Trengrouse to invent the Breeches Buoy.

The Folk Museum is situated in the old butter market and is free.
