Description:
Built on the site of a Saxon church the Norman church at Blisland was one of John Betjeman's favourites.

Dedicated to St Protus and St Hyacinth - 3rd century brothers, martyred for their beliefs. Locally they were referred to as 'Pratt and Hatt'!

The church has an unusual arrangement with the tower being placed at the end of the north transept. You can make out the external stair turret on the right corner of the tower.
