The southernmost of the pair of the huge stones that form the Pipers of Boleigh.

These were allegedly musicians who dared to play on the sabbath and where turned to stone for their sins.

In the distance is St Buryan church and Chapel Carn Brea on the right, both important sites. There are many alignments to be found here and there are a plethora of significant sites within 100 metres of here, including the Merry Maidens, Gun Rith, Boleigh Fogou and Tregiffian Barrow
