This accessible entrance grave is conveniently located right by the B3315 a minutes walk from the Merry Maidens in Boleigh.

In building of this road in the 1840s much damage was caused and many stones removed from the site.

Excavations by Copeland Borlase and later in the 1960s have revealed a wealth of information and artefacts. perhaps the most interesting was an urn containing sand from Porthcurno beach - not the nearest source of sand.
