Located just a little distance down the road from the Merry Maidens of Boleigh is Gun Rith Menhir.

Standing at over 10ft (3.2m) the stone's name means 'red downs'.

In 2003/2003 the stone fell over and was re-erected. It now has concrete foundations so should stay upright for a while
