South Wheal Frances - Miner's Dry View SW681393

Looking through what I assume would have been an inlet for a pipe into the 'miners dry' at South Wheal Frances near Redruth.

This was where the miners changed at the end of a shift, changing out of their work clothes and drying them on large steam pipes in the building.

The dry was only built a hundred years ago, but the years have taken their toll
