Ludgvan Church - originally 14th century and dedicated to St Ludowanus (Ludgvan).
The graveyard contains the graves of Humphry Davy's parents and William Borlase, the antiquarian.
In 1761 the church was stuck by lightening causing considerable damage, including shattering the pulpit and communion table.
