The Merry Maidens of Boleigh
Description: Bronze Age stone circle located just outside St Buryan and several miles west of Penzance.
It is said they were once a group of high spirited young girls who were turned to stone for commiting the sin of dancing on the sabbath. A little harsh maybe!
