Looking down the valley at the National Trust owned Glendurgan Gardens in the Spring. In the distance you can make out the waters of the Helford River which flows past the village of Durgan at the foot of the valley.

Glendurgan is one of Cornwall's finest gardens and the steep wooded valley is planted with an array of exotic, subtropical species. At this time of year it is the azaleas, camellias and magnolias that dominate along with a profusion of wild flowers.
