Boat Cove, Pendeen

Boat Cove, or Pendeen Cove as it is sometimes called, is a sandy little patch at the bottom of a slipway. Up above are a few granite huts, boats and crab pots. Putting the clues together, you can imagine why it is called Boat Cove!

As you can see the cove is still worked and there are a few small boats that still fish from here. At higher tides the small beach here all but disappears.

In the background is Portheras Cove.
