Also known as the Triganeeris Sisters, or simply 'the Sisters', the Drift Stones are an impressive pair of standing stones situated in a field just off the A30, a few miles west of Penzance near the village of Drift. The largest of the stones, both of which are over two meters tall, is said to look like an old lady dressed in a cloak. The stones, which are less than one hundred meters from the field gate, can either be viewed from the A30 or on foot. The stones command views across farmland to the east and of St Buryan church tower to the south west. A useful lay-by offers easy parking.
