I was a war evacuee from London and lived on the Towans in a Bungalow called "Cartreff" with my mother and sisters and brothers from 1939 untill 1942.
I attended the school which was actually the Church on the top of the Hill in Ventonleague.
Do you have records of children being evacuated at that time .

I have been back a few times to Hayle because it was my Shangrila growing up there, and the last time I visited was in 2000.

I now reside in the U.S
