Topic: Family history (great uncle)

hello from New Zealand..I am currently researching my Great Uncle who was killed in a Hawker Tempest crash Tail number EJ8811 28/12/1944.. he was based with 33 sqn which was at RAF Predannack. According to the information i have the crash happened at 1100hrs bst 3 miles sse helston at oclamerries farm (i think that may be a typo error)..the aircraft hit a brick wall. The pilot was w/o N E M MacDonald ,  I was interested to no if you have any information on this that may help me.

Hi.  Sorry to say I have little new information other than the crash of EJ881 (not EJ8811) on 28th Dec 1944 was thought to have been an engine failure.  What details I know are at the Tempest webiste at http://www.hawkertempest.se/macdonald.htm
