Topic: Cornwall's worst tourist attraction?

What do you reckon the worst tourist attraction in Cornwall is?

I'm going with Lands End because it's just a bunch of tat that happens to be on some cliffs that were once thought to be the most westerly point in the mainland UK.
At the end of the day you can find this level of sophistication and entertainment at a motorway service station and there are plenty of similarities!

But hey, that's just me. I thought the Eden Project was boring and I am currently studying a biology degree!

I don't think there are any bad attractions in cornwall, there are so many in St Austell
You have the eden project, Cornish World http://www.cornishworld.co.uk and not so far away St Austell Brewery, Ilove going down to Cornwall one of the nicest holiday destinations ever.

A cynical plug by a vested interest if I ever saw one!

Re: Cornwall's worst tourist attraction?

What is the Seal Sanctuary at Gweek like these days? My family used to take me there on our summer holiday when I was a child and I used to absolutely love it. Especially the seal show itself, that was always great fun. I actually applied to be a trainer there one year but was gutted to find out that it wouldn't be possible as it was a completely voluntary position! sad

Is it still good or would I be sadly disappointed?

Another animal themed attraction was Paradise Park. That used to be a great day out too but I remember thinking it was going downhill on latter visits...haven't been for years though!

Went to the Seal Sanctuary a few years back an it was OK. The kids seemed to like it and it did what it said on the tin!

Yes Lands End can be a bit disappointing especially if it is not a clear day and you cant even get a look at the sea, lots of Cornwall does demand luck with the weather, but it can be a truly beautiful place if you time it right.
