Have taken a few photos with this lens now and love it. All hand held as I'm in far too much of a hurry to set up a tripod!

Am now the proud owner of a Canon 100-400mm IS. It arrived this morning which obviously means rain for the foreseeable future!
I did have a Sigma 50-500mm which is a fine lens BUT it weighs an absolute ton! The theory with the Canon is it is lighter and has the Image Stablizer which means I might actually take it out and get some photos.
Anyway, expect to see an abundance of telephotographic shots in the photo section over the next month or so!
