The house itself is nothing special, if not a little plain on the outside. The cafe in the attached conservatory is pleasant and spacious. Unfortunately it was very popular with wasps when we visited. The food is fairly decent and good value.
What you come to Trevarno for though is the gardens and they don't disappoint. 30 acres of wooded garden featuring terraces, formal gardens, grottos, extensive woodlands and perhaps the jewel in the crown the lake.
We only spent a couple of hours here but there is probably a days worth to see.
To top it off there is a really good kids play/adventure area which puts most local parks to shame.
At £6.25 for adults it isn't that cheap but you there plenty to see for the moneyEntertainment: Facilities: Value:
