    We thought this was brilliant, and moreimportantly, so did our friend's son who was with us who is not really into industrial archaeology. The explanation of what happens was excellent, and the walk around the site was interesting and well labelled. We'll be going again and also recommending it. Also, the tin jewellery on sale was remarkably cheap!The only thing that could be improved (and might have by now) was the refreshment facilities.

    i think that blue hills tin mine was ok. it has a lot of infomation on the history of the tin mines and is situated is a beautiful part of cornwall. its quite hard to get to as ther is steap corners and walls which limite the width of your vehicle, although once you get ther ther is a part of the beach from st agnesa nd a car park with a stream running through. if you do not wish to drive down you can access it by the coast past walk which take you over the hill to the place. there also is 2 campsites near by which are cheap! and are in a beautiful location with a great view!
