Quilkyns Bed & Breakfast - Perranuthnoe
review by: Jessica
21st July 2007
I really enjoyed my stay here. The house is spotlessly clean, there are designated parking spaces for the guests, it's about 100 yards from a pub with great food (the chef trained with Raymond Blanc apparently) and I could see the sea from my bedroom window. The bathroom was very modern, with a bath and separate shower cubicle - no problem at all with the water pressure. The dining room tables were dressed beautifully each morning, with proper china tea cups and saucers and plates as well (Royal Worcester) and the breakfast was a hearty English breakfast for me every morning, though I could have had a variety of other things if I had wanted (I never had room after the full English though!). Nuala & Paul Leeper are friendly hosts who have run this B&B for 10 years and despite being a single traveller, I was made to feel very welcome.
Perranuthnoe itself is right by the sea and has it's own sandy beach, there are some lovely coastal walks too - Marazion and St Michael's Mount are just 2 miles away and Penzance is about 5 miles away.
