Didn't read the previous article until I visited and have to say it's a fantastic place to stay. The previous owners may had something to do with the problems experienced but is now in the hands of a very capable person called Mary.
Well worth a visit to see the breath taking views of the valley and river Fowey (not to mention the food!)

We have just returned from holidaying at this hotel(June 21st 2006) and I would not recommend it at all. It is in a glorious position, but our bedroom, bathroom and the dining room need a good clean. The sheets were never changed during our time there (9days) and the furniture was a hotchpot, the TV being a small portable with wire arial which did not give off a good picture Walls paper thin, could hear everybody's plumbing, snoring etc. Advertised as luxury accommodation, hardly that. Told the owner, but not much done to rectify. Expensive at 50pounds pppn b&b. Good job that the weather was good. Pity that pictures cannot be put on this site!!!!
