On the edge of The Lizard Village Penmenner House is mainland England's most southerly Guest House with stunning Sea Views. A short walk to the Coastal Path.

As mainland Britain’s most southerly guest house, Penmenner House enjoys breathtaking views sweeping from Lloyds Signal Station to the East, over The Lizard Point and lighthouse, right across to Kynance Cove to the North West. We would therefore like to welcome you to our comfortable and stylish accommodation.

Penmenner House was built in 1860 and has had a fascinating history. It was once a haunt of The Bloomsbury Group and mentioned in Rupert Brooks’ memoires.

We have four en-suite guest rooms each individually decorated with flair and a contemporary twist.

Our rooms are as follows:

The Lighthouse Suite, which, consists of a king size bedroom, adjoining sitting room, dressing room and en-suite shower room. It has stunning dual aspect sea views and a tranquil New England style. It also has a sofa bed which can accommodate a child.

The Marconi Room is our twin bedded room, decorated in a vibrant Mediterranean style. It is a large room which enjoys views of the Lighthouse and Lloyds Signal Station.

We have two further double en-suite rooms, our Atlantic Room with king size bed, which as the name suggests looks straight out to sea,

Our Sunset room which is our standard double looks towards Kynance cove and enjoys the best of the evening sun. The sunset room is also available for single occupancy.

All rooms have LCD televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, with a selection of fair trade and branded products, bottled water, complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.

For the comfort of our guests we have a large sunny breakfast room and a peaceful sitting room for you to relax and unwind after a long day exploring your wonderful surroundings.
