Directions
Mowhay Cottage is part of the hamlet of Polcoverack, on the outskirts of the village of Coverack.
Once you have got to Helston (see maps opposite or the link to Google maps on the Contact Us page for the wider context), take the A3083 past Culdrose Royal Naval Air Station towards the Lizard. At the mini roundabout at the end of the air station, bear left onto the B3293 towards St. Keverne. Stay on this road for about 8 miles.
When you go past Zoar Garage and reach the end of a straight about 1/2 a mile later the road turns sharply left. To the right on this bend are two turnings. Do not turn right to Coverack but take the right turning immediately before it which is not signposted onto a single track road. After about half a mile there is a gateway and a bollard on the left. On the gate is a sign saying Polcoverack Private. Turn left onto this unmade road and follow it for just under a mile.
Just when you think you must be impossibly lost and have gone wrong, despite enjoying lovely sea and moorland views, the road goes through some trees and hedgerows and you come into Polcoverack. Drive into the Courtyard, past the first house with a large white conservatory and you will see Mowhay.
You are designated either a visitor car parking space outside the house or space no. 2.
