Lethe Place - The Lizard
Lethe Place is a small B&B, a charming 100 year old weather boarded house, tucked away above Cadgwith fishing Cove on the Lizard Peninsula. We welcome you to our home where you will enjoy delicious food, a comfortable bed and a warm welcome.
At Lethe Place you can book our main spacious, light and airy double bedroom with a comfortable Tempur mattress, Egyptian cotton sheets and goose down duvet. Your own spacious shower room with fluffy towels, dressing gowns and complementary toiletries.
We also offer a second double bedroom, this room is smaller than the main bedroom but has its own unique charm and character. We do not let this room independant of the main bedroom, therefore if you are a group of friends or family you can book both rooms.
We serve you complimentary tea or coffee with homemade biscuits on arrival.
We serve a full English Breakfast with Cornish local produce, fruit juice, cereal, yogurt and fruit, we also offer smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or breakfast wrap with choice of vegetables, bacon or spicy chorizo sausage, should you be staying for a few nights and would like a change.
We serve breakfast in our lovely morning room with views down the lane and out to the sea beyond. You are welcome to use this room throughout your stay, with sofa, books and radio/cd player. We hope you will relax and help yourself to complementary tea and coffee with homemade biscuits.
Lethe Place has a lovely old world porch which you are welcome to use, take tea on, or just sit and enjoy the tranquillity of the garden and the bird song.
Cadgwith Cove sits within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty of which most is within easy walking distance from Lethe Place, walk the coastal paths, take a boat trip, visit local artists, or just sit and watch the local fisherman bring in their catch! In the evening we are just a short stagger up the lane from the Cadgwith Cove Inn and the Old Cellars Restaurant.
We can plan walks, pick up and drop off, pack picnic’s or book you the best restaurant’s in the area. We have a wealth of information at hand to allow you to make the most of your precious time in Cornwall, you just have to ask.
