We are a less than a short five minute drive from the quaint fishing village of St Ives, The Hotel is set in an one acre of grounds with beautiful streams running through its landscaped gardens, where you can take a walk or sit and enjoy a drink from the bar.
Parts of the Hotel date back to the 17thcentury which was then an old dairy farm this includes a lovely large ingle nook log fire, and exposed granite stone walls, but today the small hotel has been tastefully extended and renovated to meet the needs of the modern visitor, all rooms have en-suite shower and toilet, radio, colour TV and tea-making facilities, and a country or garden view!
The hotel is open all year and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting, the emphasis being on hospitality and good value for money.
Enjoy a candlelit dinner in the restaurant. All meals are freshly cooked and which can include steaks, local game and seafood.
Gather in the cosy lounge for your pre-dinner aperitif and relax after dinner with coffee and liqueurs. There are roaring log fires, and all rooms are heated in the winter.
In the summer the conservatory is ideal with stunning views of Trink Hill.
The hotel is situated equal distances from the beautiful beaches of Carbis Bay and St Ives, and there is a wealth of things to do and see. There are horse riding stables very close by, and the surrounding country is ideal for riding. The dramatic coastline is ideal for lovers of nature and walkers. (The Coast path between St Ives and Land’s End provides spectacular views).
There are plenty of places of interest to visit nearby, including the St Ives Tate Gallery, and the fairytale castle of St.Michael’s Mount in Mounts Bay less than 10 minutes away. Also, within a short distance there are numerous tourist attractions, National Trust Houses and Gardens, and of course the famous Land’s End.
