At the top of Porthtowan’s West Cliff, ‘The Blue Room’ is cozy comfortable b+b double room with private en-suite quality power shower/w.c.
Truly stupendous views over Porthtowan ‘blue-flag’ beach and village, with boardwalks, seating and garden directly outside your floor-to-ceiling picture window.
Private steep path down to beach and the world-famous ‘Blue-bar’ with quality cuisine right on the beach. Separate access to room (not through main house), short downhill stroll to village shop, local pub, village hall, bus-stop etc.
Note to WALKERS: we are actually ON the cliffpath, so no trekking inland for your digs.
Note to SURFERS: private steps down to beach, fresh-water shower on our boardwalk for wetsuits and gear. Safe storage for boards/kites/mountain bikes etc.
Note to CYCLISTS: Safe storage for machines and hose-down facilities for mucky bikes. Wide selection of spanners and dry workshop available.
Note to DOG OWNERS: we do not allow dogs, and they’re banned from the beach.
Breakfast of fresh fruit, muesli, toast and hot fresh croissants is included.
Plenty of local choice for good eating, beach bistros, and the delights of Truro city centre and the Falmouth oystercatchers only a short scenic drive away.

Please note that some of the listed facilities (eg, children’s play area, village shop) are not on the site, but are village amenities and very nearby.
Some rooms are accessed by steep steps (regrettably not suitable for disabled or wheelchair users).

If arriving on foot, we’re on the cliff path on the Westcliff at Porthtowan which is between St Agnes and Portreath.
If arriving by road: Put tr48ae into your satnav, 1, head for Cornwall! drive West towards the sunset…keep going along the A30, past a couple of wind farms. 2. At Chiverton roundabout (with little square church) there are 2 petrol stations and a starbucks (of all things). 3. Follow signs to St Agnes. 4. At Sevenmilestone Garage turn left following signs to Porthtowan. 5. on arrival at Porthtowan, follow signs to beach, pass to the left of the Unicorn pub and up the steep Westcliff. Winspit is on the right almost at the top. Park outside and say hello!
