Moor House, built in the Victorian era, and situated an easy, short walk from the beautiful Portreath harbor and beach, is a haven for those who enjoy a restful home-like atmosphere in a Cornish cottage, newly restored to a high standard.
With its own extensive park-like gardens, orchard and stream, Moor House offers guests the ultimate in relaxation. Guestrooms are well-appointed, immaculately maintained with tasteful decor. Breakfast is made to order for each guest with vegetarian and vegan menus available. All guest bedrooms have TV/DVD/CD, tea & coffee making facilities, guest robes and toiletries, clock radio and luxury linens.
Collection at the Newquay airport or the Truro, Redruth or Camborne rail stations can be arranged. Ample, off-street parking is provided for those traveling by motor or cycle. Hikers will find Moor House close to the Southwest Coastal Path. Other popular holiday spots such as St. Ives, St. Mawes, Truro, Godrevy, Falmouth and Penzance are only a short drive from Moor House.
We cannot, unfortuantely accept children under the age of 12 or animals with the exception of guide dogs.
At the present time, credit cards are not accepted. A one-night nonrefundable deposit is asked to confirm reservations.

Easily accessible from the A30. Portreath is clearly signposted. The direct route is the B3300, signposted Portreath. Moor House is located on the main road into Portreath approx. 20 yards from the traffic restriction on Penberthy Road.
