Ponsandane field is a sheltered field in a parkland setting just off the main A.30 only ten minutes walk from the old market town of penzance.  it is an ideal location from which to explore the area being within an easy walk of the beautiful beaches of mounts bay and st. michaels mount.  the heliport is only a few minutes walk away from where you can fly to the magical isles of scilly or catch the ferry from penzance harbour. ponsandane is only open in the summer months of july and august and has a purpose built gents and ladies toilet and shower block containing 3 showers and 3 toilets in each section.  there is a supermarket where you can stock up with supplies adjacent to the field.  ponsandane is a relaxed informal site where camp fires are allowed and we also welcome dogs as long as they are kept under control on the field.
