Ortega cottage is a traditional granite cottage at the heart of Polgoon Vineyard & Orchard on the edge of Penzance. Built in the early 1800s originally as a farm managers cottage it was completely renovated by the current owners including a hand made cherry wood kitchen made by George Robinson, the cabinet maker who also made a kitchen for the castle on St Michael’s Mount! There are beautiful walks, including 20 acres of vineyard and orchard on the farm, Penzance town and the seafront are less than 10 minutes walk away.
A perfect location to explore west Cornwall. There is easy road access to the Minack, St Ives, local Beaches, and all the wonders of West Penwith. A true gem.
