Probably the most well known building in town built for the last great Padstow ship builder in the early 1800s Cross House is now a small relaxing hotel with 6 en-suite bedrooms from large sea view suites to smaller doubles all offering either shower and or baths television hair dryers and tea making facilities. Close to the town centre and Rick Steins the hotel is the ideal location for a short winter break away from it all or a family holiday by the sea.

From the North and the Midlands take the M5 South to Exeter and turn off at Junction 31 where you will join the A30 Oakhampton Bodmin bypass. Drive along the A30 all the way down to Bodmin. At Bodmin take the A389 to Wadebridge where you will join the A39. Drive past the Wadebridge Showground until you see a turning on the right A389 to St. Issey Little Petherick and Padstow and just follow the road into Padstow. From London and the South East take the M4 and the A303 respectively down to Exeter and turn off at Junction 31 where you will join the A30 Oakhampton Bodmin bypass. Drive along the A30 all the way down to Bodmin. At Bodmin take the A389 to Wadebridge where you will join the A39. Drive past the Wadebridge Showground until you see a turning on the right A389 to St. Issey Little Petherick and Padstow and just follow the road into Padstow.
