Artists Cottage - Marazion

A listed seaside cottage,in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', with breathtaking views of Mounts bay and St Michael's Mount. A sunny, south facing, converted artists studio, whose atmosphere inspired the imagination of many artists.

The rooms are awash with a spectrum of pastel colour reflected from the sea.
Windows capture ever changing seascapes , framing scenes of small boats drifting on water as smooth as glass, fishermen busily emptying lobster pots, surface ripples morphing into dazzling brilliance in the sunlight or winter’s wild crashing Atlantic waves. Impassioned by its loveliness, artists painted here. 
From the pretty garden you feel you could almost reach over and touch St. Michael’s Mount and paddle your feet in the bay.  Nearby the coastal path takes you to deserted sandy coves fringed with wild flowers, where seals loiter in the surf.  The ancient town boasts a small harbour where the ferry to St. Michael’s Mount collects its passengers when the causeway is covered by the tide.
