Flat 7 Spanish Ledge, is a self-catering property in one of the older granite buildings in Town. Sleeping 4 in two bedrooms, it is presented to a high standard, and is conveniently located near the centre of Hugh Town, close to shops and beaches.

A spacious self contained ground floor flat consisting of a large living room, a well equipped kitchen, separate dining room and two bedrooms, one double-bedded and one twin-bedded. The bathroom incorporates a large sized shower cubicle with electric shower, hand basin and WC. (See floor plan on this page for more details).

Facilities include electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave oven, automatic washing machine, colour television, video and DVD player and a selection of games and local books for when the day’s exploration is done. A cot is available for infants, free of charge.
All bed linen and towels are provided. Beds are made prior to arrival. If you are staying for longer than a week, a weekly change of linen is included in the tariff. There is also a hairdryer and ironing facilities.

Electric heating is available in all rooms and electricity is included within the tariff.

Island flowers are provided to welcome you, together with tea and coffee so you don’t need to rush out to the shops.

The flat is accessed by a private entrance off Silver Street and can be occupied on arrival day from 2.30pm.

We ask that there is no smoking in the property and regret that pets are not allowed.

Arrival by Helicopter or Plane ( Skybus ).

After collecting your luggage, there will be a bus waiting to take you on the short trip down to Hugh Town. Ask the driver to drop you outside the ‘Bishop & Wolf’ pub. With your back to the pub, take the road to your right, this is Silver Street. The entrance to the rear courtyard of Spanish Ledge is through a double wooden gate on the left hand side three quarters of the way up Silver Street. Flat 7 is the ground floor flat directly ahead of you upon opening the gate.

Alternatively a taxi will take you to directly to Silver Street and point out the gate to you.

Arrival by Ship ( Scillonian III )

Before you embark, make sure your luggage is well and clearly labelled for delivery to ‘Flat 7, Spanish Ledge’, your luggage will then be delivered to the flat for a small fee per bag, payable on delivery, usually within an hour of the Scillonian docking.

Make your way along the Quay until you reach the road. Turn left at the Mermaid Pub and continue straight on down the main street past Lloyds bank on the right and the Co-op on the left, carry on until you come to a “Y” junction ahead of you. Take the right fork past the ‘Bishop & Wolf’ pub, this is Silver Street. The entrance to the rear courtyard of Spanish Ledge is through a double wooden gate on the left hand side three quarters of the way up Silver Street. Flat 7 is the ground floor flat directly ahead of you upon opening the gate. This walk should take no longer than 10 minutes.
