South facing St. Anthony nestles in a sheltered suntrap on the shores of Gillan Creek at the entrance of the Helford River. For those wanting more than a bucket-and-spade holiday, the creek provides a safe child’s playground with rock pools, shrimping, paddling and swimming. Kayaks, sailing dinghies and motor boats can be hired from our boatyard, and moorings and launching are available for those bringing their own boats. Cliff and riverside walks leave from St. Anthony. National Trust and private gardens lie within easy reach and there are good local pubs and bistros.

About 10 miles from Helston - take the Lizard road, left after Culdrose air base for St. Keverne, left again just before Goonhilly satellite station (signed Manaccan and Helford). Follow these signs until you see St. Anthony signposted. You have reached St. Anthony when the road meets the river.
