Ruby Cottage is deceptively spacious. There is a small, cosy living room with beamed low ceilings and a slate fireplace, TV, Freeview, video, DVD and CD player. Steep, narrow stairs lead up to the double bedroom with views across fields down to the slate quarry. Both of these rooms form part of the original cottage so have very low ceilings – tall people beware!
Downstairs there is a single bedroom leading to a twin bedroom as well as a recently refurbished bathroom (with electric shower). Also on the ground floor is the spacious fitted kitchen with a traditional slate floor - it has a dining area and leads to a pretty paved garden with mature borders and plenty of space to sit outside and relax.
The kitchen is fully equipped with: four ring ceramic hob, built-in oven, half-size dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and refrigerator with small freezer compartment). Bikes and/or surfboards can be stored at the back of the house (separate access behind the hairdressers).
