The property is just yards from Widemouth Bay Beach, where you can enjoy a wide range of activities such as surfing, exploring the rock pools and swimming. The beach is steeped in smuggling history with plenty of coves and inlets in the area. Dotted around the beach there are several cafes, with a shop and The Bay View pub/restaurant located on the hill above the bay.

The centre of Bude is three miles away, here you will find several shops, restaurants and pubs to enjoy and of course an abundance of attractions. These include pitch and putt, Harlequin’s indoor play centre and Bude Castle. The well-known Bude Canal offers many relaxed walks on a level surface and is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. The canal walks take you through many unspoilt areas which are a haven for wildlife.

When staying in this beautiful region, be sure to visit the nearby towns of Padstow and Newquay, both reached within an hour’s drive. The family focused attractions in Newquay are some of the best in Cornwall, namely Newquay Zoo, The Blue Reef Aquarium and Buccaneer Bay.
