From your doorstep take a step back in time strolling around the stunning grounds of Lanhydrock country house and estate, which also leads down to the Fowey river valley. You may also join the Saints Way Trail which passes close by and crosses Cornwall from Padstow to Fowey. Utilising the great outdoors three must see attractions in close proximity are the world famous Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Square-rigged Sailing Ships at Charlestown.
Those in search of a good workout, or pure indulgent relaxation, should head to the nearby Hustyns Hotel, where the owners have negotiated reasonable rates for use of the fantastic facilities which include a state-of-the-art gym, indoor pool, and health and beauty spa complete with a steam room and sauna.
Just over a mile away for guests keen to improve their handicap, Lanhydrock Golf Club provides the perfect opportunity to play a round surrounded by wonderful countryside. For something a little different then Bodmin Jail provides a unique visitor attraction and can be found along the route of the Camel Trail, a delightful cycle route along the banks of the River Camel.
