St Just-in-Roseland ChurchLocated on the west of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, a few miles north of St Mawes, St Just-in-Roesland is quite different from its namesake in Penwith. It is a verdant village of manicured gardens and pretty cottages leading down to the woodlands and creeks by the Percuil River.

The village is best known for the 13th century chuch of St Just the Martyr. Overlooking St Just Pool, a tree lined creek, the church is set in an ampitheatre like graveyard filled with an array of colourful sub-tropical plants and shrubs - a botanical project started over 100 years ago. The interior of the church sports some interesting painted bosses and the granite slabs along the path bear a motley collection of Bible verses commissioned and blessed by a somewhat unconventional vicar in the early 1900s.
